The weakest link in the 914 drive line is the CV joint. It can break without any warning and leave you stranded. While the 914 transaxle will withstand as much as 300+ ft. lbs. of torque, the 914 stock axles are only good to about 250 FPT at best. This HP axle and CV kit is tested to reliably handle up to 500 HP and is a bolt in replacement for all stock 914-4 axles.  Included are new high performance CV joints, new boots with retainer rings, new custom adapter flanges, powder coated re-manufactured axles, new hardware, and CV grease.  Inquire for other trans and hub flange configurations.
