Description:
We are proud to present our new bladed swaybar design for the Porsche 997 and 987 Cayman!!
The design starts with two blades (one on each end), for increased adjustability over the 997 Cup swaybar, and at a fraction of the price. Stiffness adjustments can be made easily and quickly by simply loosening the locking screw and rotating the blade. A cockpit adjustable upgrade option is available below for instant adjustability on the fly.
Next we use a hollow NASCAR style splined bar that can be replaced with optional sizes to allow you to change the range of adjustment. The light weight hollow 1.125” OD sway bars are half the weight of a solid bar with the same stiffness. Both the blades and the bar are made from the highest quality aero-space materials and heat treated for superior strength and reliability.
Complete with fully adjustable front drop links to eliminate suspension preload. The drop link design includes a high mounting upper drop link connecting bracket that mounts to the body of the shock instead of the pinch bolt. This allows for an extra long drop link which significantly improves the drop link geometry throughout the range of steering and suspension travel.
Correctly sized, precision, Teflon-lined rod-ends for smooth and quiet operation, long life, and high reliability. No wear and rattling problems, like those seen with other designs, due to undersized or low quality rod ends.
All necessary hardware is provided in zinc plated metric class 8.8 or higher.
High misalignment, stainless steel rod end spacers allow for superior bind free operation and corrosion resistance.
The set comes complete with precision machined Delrin swaybar bushings for rigid, yet quiet and smooth operation.
All components are designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards, resulting in the finest and most reliable swaybar on the market.
Application Note: Like the factory bladed RSR front swaybars, these bars also require the use of a short stroke shock like JRZ/MCS/Moton or the GT3 Cup or RSR shocks. Please contact Tarett Engineering for more information.
